I bought the network hard drive to store my music, movies and documents in a central and secure location. The plate comes with the easy-to-follow LaCie Network Assistant and easy-to-understand instructions. So far, the hard drive works exactly as described. Within a few minutes I connected it to my network, it was immediately recognized by all computers, I immediately uploaded files to it, and that’s it in principle already. The plate is really easy to use. The transmission speed is good. The network functions also seem to work well. The device is large class: visually appealing, quiet, many functionalities and large disk capacity. I have had it in operation for eight months now and so far it works perfectly. Overall, a great device that I can recommend without hesitation.
