Quick access by mouse – continue to favor programs

Mark the corresponding program on the desktop or in the Start menu and drag and drop it to the desired place in the menu.

Under the heading Extended, new display modes are then hidden:

– Start menu settings: You have two checkboxes: open submenus when pointing (default: activated) and highlight recently installed applications (default: activated). In the last installed applications highlight command, these applications are stored in color (yellow).

Start menu elements: In the middle part of this register, you can decide whether or in which form the elements should be displayed in the Start menu. The square checkboxes decide whether the corresponding element should be displayed at all. The round checkboxes differ again in Show as Menu, Show as Link, and Never Show Element.

Show as a menu: The element gets an arrow for the cascade menu. Show as a shortcut: The element is in the Start menu Standard. Never show element: The element is not visible in the start menu.

Recently Used Documents: Quick access to recently used documents. Click Delete List if you want to have the ad cleaned up every now and then. Deactivate the check box if you do not want this selection to appear in the Start menu.
