The toolbars

By default – as already mentioned – two toolbars (standard and format) are integrated into the Excel window. But Excel 2000 offers a much larger range of toolbars.

From the menu item View – Toolbars you can display all existing toolbars and hide them by clicking on – or. Fade-in toolbars are hooked.

Activate toolbars:

Right-click on any location on a toolbar.

Excel displays the context menu with all kinds of toolbars.

Then select the desired toolbar with the mouse, Excel makes it available on the screen.

Hidden toolbars can also be hidden in the same way (click with the mouse).

Toolbar Positioning:

To place a toolbar in the Excel window, click with the left mouse button exactly on an empty area between the icons and drag the bar to a place in the spreadsheet. The toolbar then appears in a small window.

Change toolbars (or menu bars):

Move an icon –> Drag the icon to another position on the toolbar.

Copy an icon –> When dragging to another position, hold down the CTRL button.

Delete an icon –> Drag the icon from the toolbar.

Reset Modified Toolbar:

Select the menu item Extras – Customize…

In the Customize dialog box, select the desired toolbar in the Toolbars tab and then click Reset… and confirm this in the OK.
