Change symbols of individual file types

For file types, different symbols are used, which can be modified and exchanged as desired.

In Windows Explorer, go to „Extras“ and „Folder Options“. Under „File types“ the desired type is selected, which must be changed. As an example, one can cite the image format „.jpeg“. Now, if you go to „Advanced“, you can assign a new icon to the type by going to „Other Symbol“.
