If an analogue connection is still free, you can fax with the PC at the respective tariff. Only the fax service from the XP-CD has to be installed.
How to Install Windows Fax and San
Documents can be sent and received if the PC is equipped with a fax modem or connected to a fax server. Custom cover sheets can also be designed. If a scanner is connected, digital copies of documents and photos can be created with the Windows function.
How to set up the fax modem:
- Connect the PC to an analog telephone line.
- Click START – ALL PROGRAMMES – WINDOWS FAX AND SCAN.
- Click FAX at the bottom of the left pane and NEW FAX on the toolbar to start the Fax Installation Assistant.
- Choose Connection with a fax mode and follow the assistant’s instructions.
