The in-house burner from Windows is suitable for data backup but also for music burning, although the quality of the original CD can often not be preserved. The remedy is an audio grabber or the increase of the quality levels in the media player.
One reason for interference noise on the burned CD can be contamination or scratches. The plate is then carefully cleaned with a soft and clean cloth or with distilled water and detergent.
Scratches can be worked with special chromium or plastic glass polish.
