After a customer of ours the Windows 95 collapsed in itself and the registry was no longer repairable, we were faced with the following problem to migrate the data easily and quickly to a new PC.

In the new computer we have installed an ASUS mainboard, an Intel Celeron CPU, 4 GB memory, 500 GB hard drive and a DVD burner. Furthermore, we thought about the old SCSI controller which has a PCI connection in the new computer … GRRRRR ……..
Transmission of data
Was my idea and it was wrong, the new motherboard simply did not recognize the SCSI controller, so in the short term we have installed another PC with Windows 95. We then installed the SCSI controller with the two hard drives in the new old Windows 95 PC to make the data visible. On the New New PC with Windows XP we then installed and launched a File Zilla FTP Server, with the program Total Commander Version 5.50 Then we have the whole disk. (volume 4.22 GB) copied. This process took more than 3 hours, but the data was taken over perfectly and the user can access his data again.
