Professional content managers offer solutions when internal resources are lacking
Vienna (pts025/24.04.2013/13:05) – A separate website is a matter of course for companies today. However, it is only a useful marketing and communication tool if it is always up to date. This is exactly what many companies fail to do. The reason: Often the necessary internal resources or technical know-how are missing. The newly founded Viennese company Contentservice has recognized this problem and found a solution: Web maintenance on a minute basis.
Professional support does not have to be expensive
“A professional website should always be up-to-date: Obsolete information must be removed, important announcements and news must be immediately visible to everyone,” explains Fritz Vesely, one of the managing directors of Contentservice. Regular updates are also important for a good Google ranking. For a perfect appearance of course, but often underestimated the text and the corresponding picture. The text must be written in the language of the target group and must be easy to understand. Freedom from error is presumed. What can often be accomplished quickly and without much effort for professionals often costs in-house employees a lot of time, which they could use better and more efficiently for their core tasks.
Vesely and its partner Günter Temel therefore offer routine maintenance and editing for websites as an external service. In contrast to the usual hourly price, they bill their performance minutely. The price per minute is 1.20 euros (minimum charge: 30 minutes). The commissioning takes place via a web form or by telephone. Standard orders are processed within 24 hours.
Original programming base does not matter
Temel and Vesely also help with all other tasks around the perfect website, the corporate blog, the optimal Internet portal or the various social media tools up to the newsletter. Through the cooperation with experts from different areas, services such as the creation and translation of texts, the design of websites, print products and advertising materials as well as programming of additional modules are also included in the Contentservice portfolio. On which basis the original website was created, static HTML page or operation with content management system, does not matter.
Günter Temel: „Our programmers can work with all common systems and implement extensions such as galleries, newsletter systems, surveys or individual modules for the automation of company processes at any time.“ Anyone who additionally needs a tailor-made maintenance concept, for example in the form of an editorial plan with ongoing content support, can also book this.
