Take a folder to hand. Not an empty one, of course, but one with content. With various documents, printed pages, etc. For Excel, this folder is called workbook, the notes contained in it are the tables (or table sheets). Thus, the basic structure of Excel is explained.
New table:
After each start of Excel2000, an empty workbook (= empty folder) is automatically created. Each workbook contains three tables by default. Others can be added as follows:
In the leaf tab (at the bottom), right-click a table and select Paste it. A new table is added.
New workbook
To get a new workbook, go to File – New…, select Workbook and OK. This way you can also choose from the existing pattern templates.
You can also click on the icon for New in the toolbar and a new workbook will be created. Templates are not offered here.
Sheets between tables:
A simple mouse click is sufficient for this. Select the desired table in the leaf tab with the left mouse button – its contents are displayed immediately.
