Of course, it is also possible in this version to adjust the start menu as desired.

1. Right-click Start and select the Property entry in the context menu. The Properties dialog window of the Taskbar and Start Menu opens. The following figure shows the dialog box with the open Start Menu tab.
2. On the Start Menu tab, you now have the option to simply select between the Windows XP Start Menu (default setting) and the classic Start Menu by clicking the mouse. Select the Classic Start Menu option to use the Style menu of previous Windows versions.
3. Depending on your choice, you can click on the corresponding menu and set it up according to your taste. Click the Customize button and it will open the Customize Start Menu dialog box. In the following, we will focus on the new Start Menu Adaptation, as nothing has changed in the customization options in the classic Start Menu.
4. You will immediately realize that the dialog box is divided into two registers, General and Extended. Configure according to your mood and confirm the adjustment with OK.
