Remove unneeded programs from the Open with list

When in the Windows Explorer, in the context menu of a file, Opening with choose,
Get a list of applications you can use to open the file.
Windows adds to this list all the programs you use to edit a
File of this type have ever used. The order sets Windows according to the
Frequency with which you use the corresponding applications.

If you have chosen a program accidentally or not at all
If you want to use it more, you usually have no way to get it out of this
Remove the list. Through a small intervention in the registry you can
Opening with– List
but adapting.

1. Start it.
   Registration editor via Start
   – All programmes
   – Accessories
   – Executions
   (WIN+<R>).
2. Give the command regedit one and
   Press <Return>.
3. Switch to
   Key HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\

   Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts.

4. Below this
   Keys find all file types registered in Windows. They switch to
   the desired file type. In the subkey OpenWithList you will find in the
   Rule the names of multiple applications and an MRUlist (Most Recently Used).
5. Here you can
   specifically remove individual applications.
