For networks or shared folders, it can be helpful to search for files with advanced query. Formulas can be created easily and quickly and files can be found faster and more targeted.
Using the example of a file containing the term “inovelop” and last edited on 23.07.2012.
- Start computer management in the context menu of the workplace and expand the “index service” under “Services and Applications”.
- Mark „Browse catalogue“, in the right half of the window you can see the search form of the index service
- Select “Advanced Query” option. Enter the search field „@access = 2012/07/32 AND $contents = inovelop“ and click „Search“. The result can also be sorted.
