The trash of Window 7, Vista and XP is a good protection against the accidental deletion of files, but it is not particularly comfortable:
The free tool „RecycleBinEx“ therefore upgrades the Windows paper basket by some useful functions. For example, you can sort deleted files by the hard drive on which those files were stored. You can also sort the deleted files by the deletion time and view files that were deleted over a day, over a week or over a month ago via mouse click. This way you can quickly find out which files you really do not need anymore and you can permanently clean from the disk.
Via the integrated search field you can „roam“ the trash for searched files and get to the destination faster than with the on-board means of Windows.
Especially convenient: If you have several Windows operating systems installed to run Windows 7 or Vista and XP in parallel, for example, then you can also combine the individual trash baskets into a single trash with RecycleBinEx.
