I have had my Acer Aspire for 2 years now and have actually experienced a lot with him! I got my Acer Aspire for my 16th birthday so I went to Media Markt with my father and saw this laptop. I did not have a lot of idea about laptop performance etc. but the appearance convinced me I just thought „Wow how cool right you can set music volume“ etc… well at the end I decided for the Acer Aspire 8730G wanted to have a laptop that lasts at least 2 years so I closed my eye at the price even if it paid my father I did not want him to spend 1500 euros for a laptop so we paid the 799 euros for the laptop and I happily went home and started using it ! This is how I got to my Acer Aspire 8730 GG

In the 2 wonderful years with my laptop I was very convinced of it in the first 3 months until I finally got the Windows 7 updates promised by Acer. I started right away and already arose first problems I have installed a finger scanner driver together with the CD and well that the Acer Aspire 8730G does not have a finger scan so it was formatting again and starting again so good next time everything went well and good after 2 more months the first error a suddenly reappearing blue screen error the was paid me a suddenly reappearing blue screen error ^^ (which I still doubt) well 8 months Later the next problem my thermal module was so damaged that I could roast an egg on my laptop or could boil water this was of course also repaired by Acer but this time hardware warranty well I remained with the nerve still very reserved until I got a new error then after 20 months my laptop played crazy was of course a graphics error so I went to Media Market and gave it back again … I went back to Media Market and waited until the funny error appeared again and well when I had a proof video I sent it back this time I almost completely renewed the whole inner life of my laptop ! I also hoped that they would send me my laptop back as I handed it over I would turn my lawyer on because I needed my laptop urgently for school… these were so my negative things I could say with my laptop the customer service of acer has to be desired and the quality of the laptop as well. despite these negative events I was able to play playback in very good graphics and do my work very well I used my laptop as a work device and as a „game tool“ 🙂 everything ran super now I use my laptop exactly 4 months without errors and hope this will last longer because 2 weeks ago my warranty expired -.- that means no more warranty for hardware error 😀 !

Visually, the laptop looks like a battleship among the laptops with its size and visually well-tuned structures and colors very applicable to me! However, I have heard statements from friends who said it was too big for a laptop, etc.

Nowadays, the laptop is not recommended to buy not only because it is out of today’s age, but rather because it is on average by price performance ratio, although not in the lower average. I do not recommend buying anyone. But finally end your decision 🙂 ! my experiences speak for themselves…
