Two devices were purchased to operate them side by side. For this, the values of the ECO monitors and the matte displa y have spoken.
Packed in narrow boxes (little packaging waste) and with appropriate connection cables. Only one would be instead of a VGA co-geliferte cable rather an HDMI cable happy. I had bought these for the connection, which basically produce a great sharp picture on the monitor.
Visually very modern white case with a storage box in the monitor foot. This can generally be used for paper clips or the like, or you use a supplied insert. This also allows you to put down notes or chip cards (looks like a small hedgehog).
Unfortunately, after setting up, both devices pointed out different hues in the picture shown. So the picture was rather reddish on one monitor and yellowish on the other Benq. Through the settings, attempts were made to adjust the monitors, but without success. Thus, the replacement of a device took place within the first 14 days after the purchase date.
Again set up and compared. Now the replaced monitor seemed to indicate the hue white even without a red tinge, but now the first monitor looked even yellower. So the first monitor was also exchanged within the mentioned period.
A uniform image was then found on both monitors. But this did not last long. After both monitors were purchased in February 2011, the first monitor was already defective in May 2011. He was constantly shutting himself off. A call to customer service describing the story also leads to the exchange.
A few days later I received the new monitor in exchange for the package service.
The monitor was unpacked and switched on. Behold, there was another reddish image. In addition, the monitor deviates optically (housing) from the other device. A glance at the back reveals that the first purchased devices refer as the manufacturing date to November 2010 and the replacement monitor to April 2010. So I got an older device which didn’t work either. The optical case difference is still questioned by customer service. Now my pictures were sent by email, after a week still no reaction. Very disappointing devices with poor customer service.
I can only advise against Benq and bought the monitors only because of the white case.
I am also generally disappointed by the color representations, even if you operate the device as a single monitor. In this price range, there are certainly other providers with better monitors.
